In mid May, the 4th and 5th graders got to go to the Craterion Theater and perform along with the Rogue Valley Symphony in Carnegie Hall’s Link Up Program called “The Orchestra Moves.” They played along to “Blue Danube,” and 7 other songs from around the world and got to watch as the orchestra performed Beethoven’s famous Symphony #5. They poured in a lot of work since March-May, and they sang, danced, played recorders, and some percussion. A great experience! We had a lot of fun learning music! If you would like some videos of our practice in the classroom, please email samanthal@prospect.k12.or.us
